So many leaves! Today was a more difficult hike, but ended with wonderful views, including the sunset!
Back on the trail for a three-day weekend hiking in Virginia with a friend. It was chilly, but a lovely fall day.
Georgia was full of purple wildflowers!
We finished our weekend hike through varied landscapes. I’ve completed over 800 miles of the AT this year!
Another lovely day for a fall hike, with lots of spiderwebs, misty view of the highway, and a surprising deer.
This starts another short slackpacking section hike, this time back in Virginia.
Georgia is done! This was a great section hike, and Above the Clouds Hostel and the other ladies on the hike were wonderful.
Today had more humpty-dumps, amazing views, and an “it’s a small-world” encounter.
