Another lovely day for a fall hike, with lots of spiderwebs, misty view of the highway, and a surprising deer.
This starts another short slackpacking section hike, this time back in Virginia.
Georgia is done! This was a great section hike, and Above the Clouds Hostel and the other ladies on the hike were wonderful.
Today had more humpty-dumps, amazing views, and an “it’s a small-world” encounter.
Another wonderful day for a walk in the woods! There were no views today, but some lovely sunlight and wildflowers.

Today is the start of another section hike, 90 miles in Georgia, starting at the southern end of the AT. It was really wet!
